Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic professional to join our team as the Director of Strategic Accounts, Global Delivery, and Service Optimization. This strategic role involves overseeing the Profit and Loss (P&L) of key accounts, driving the development of a robust global delivery capability, and optimizing service offerings to align with global market demands. We're looking for a visionary leader with a proven track record in revenue growth, profitability optimization, and strategic adaptation of services.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Strategic Account P&L Management:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive P&L strategies for strategic accounts to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure effective cost management and optimization to enhance overall profitability.

Global Delivery and Service Offering Optimization:

  • Assess and enhance our current delivery capabilities to meet global standards and exceed client expectations.
  • Evaluate existing service offerings, identifying opportunities for streamlining and optimization.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand global delivery capabilities, ensuring seamless and efficient service delivery internationally.
  • Work closely with innovation teams to align service offerings with evolving global market demands.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to establish consistent service standards and operational excellence.

Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within strategic accounts.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business objectives and align services to meet their evolving needs.
  • Anticipate client needs and provide proactive solutions to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.

Cross-functional Leadership:

  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and finance, to execute strategic initiatives.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented culture to drive the achievement of collective goals.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting professional development and performance excellence.

Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.
  • Identify new business opportunities within strategic accounts and develop innovative solutions to meet evolving market demands.

Performance Reporting and Analysis:

  • Develop and maintain robust reporting mechanisms to track and communicate key performance indicators related to strategic account P&L and global delivery capability.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on financial performance, challenges, and opportunities.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in strategic account management with a focus on P&L responsibility.
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing global delivery capabilities.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams.
  • Curious and energetic with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding financial targets.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Significant sales & delivery experience and existing relationship connections within the Technology sector.
  • Significant relationships at CxO level in the Technology sector.
  • Ideally comes with ready-made book of business opportunities.
  • Resides in (or easy commute) San Jose Valley/San Francisco area.

  • A competitive pay range of $150,000-200,000 (depending on experience).
  • KPI Performance Bonus.
  • 15 days per year of Paid Time Off (PTO).
  • 9 paid holidays per year (which includes 1 personal floating holiday).
