We are looking for an on-site Lab Support Engineer to join our team! This managed service role will support one of our leading clients in Redmond. You must have solid hardware experience with a preferred IT Operations background working with Windows Server in a datacenter or a lab environment. Must be someone with a strong work ethic and not afraid of taking on new challenges with cutting edge cloud infrastructure!



  • Manage the whole lab hardware inventory
  • Be on-site at the lab and stand by for tickets
  • Handling tickets based on SLA
  • Hardware readiness check by installing necessary OS, firmware, software and run necessary tests
  • Hardware modification, e.g., install/remove parts on the server
  • Hardware Debug, troubleshoot on any hardware related issues on the server
  • Daily communication with team members and partner teams globally


  • 3+ years’ experience on hardware related projects or lab engineer experience
  • Project management experience and experience leading a team
  • Experience with hardware inventory management
  • Understanding of server hardware e.g., CPU, DIMM, NVME/SATA SSD, BIOS, FPGA etc.
  • Previous IT Operations experience supporting Server Hardware/Firmware (Windows Server preferred)
  • Computer Science or Electrical Engineer Major
  • Experience with Windows Batch Script and PowerShell
  • ADO experience or other IT ticketing system is a plus
  • Must have strong motivation, able to multi-task, and willing to take on new challenges
  • Previous Microsoft experience preferred
