The Printer Test Technician 1 position offers a Monday through Friday work week with regular office hours, a comprehensive benefit package including holiday pay and paid-time off, and is at an onsite, high-profile client location in beautiful Vancouver, Washington.

• Performs tests on printers to determine the functionality of mechanical equipment.
• Run test scripts via PC according to specific guidelines and procedures.
• Observe printer behavior and compare test results with predetermined parameters.
• Collect and accurately report test data using predetermined spreadsheets and applicable databases.
• Maintain accurate logs, records, metrics, and follows procedures.
• Completes work with limited supervision and general instructions for new assignments.
• Must be able to work in different enclosed climate environments including hot/humid, cold/wet, and etc. Examples include 59F/10% RH and 104F/80% RH. (Operators may spend up to 10 minutes in the hot/humid environment).
• Remove and install printer consumables such as toner cartridges and paper.

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required with the ability to effectively communicate with varied levels of employees.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Be physically able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Be physically able to sit or stand for extended periods, climb step stools, bend, kneel and stoop frequently.
• Be willing to perform repetitive, sometimes sedentary work.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to follow detailed directions.
• At minimum, basic user knowledge and experience with PC's including Microsoft Office products like Word, Excel, and Access with comfortability navigating and viewing web pages.
• Minimum educational level expectation is a high school diploma or has passed GED (General Educational Development) examinations. 2-year STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) or Technical/college diploma preferred. On-the-job work experience and job skills training in lieu of a 2-Year college diploma is acceptable. 
• Prior work experience in a test environment is a +. The work experience can be waived/reduced depending on education qualifications, skillset, industry standard certifications or other related industry work experience.
