  • Overview

    Director of Presales will partner closely with our Business Unit Directors and Sales Leaders to increase market share and develop and execute aggressive growth strategies across multiple geographies. This position will have a heavy focus on bid management, portfolio management and prioritization of client deliverables. The candidate is expected to facilitate sales pursuits by building cross functional alliances to provide innovative business solutions / proposals to our clients. This person will think strategically while also driving detailed execution and managing team deliverables.


    Leading RFP responses that require the involvement of multiple service lines to solve complex business problems for clients
    • Providing client centric solutions for business proposals that need innovative commercial models and engagement structures
    • Contributing towards design, estimation and pricing of projects / engagements
    • Managing and writing responses for RFP / RFI
    • Working with account teams to identify core focus areas and drive proposals in that area
    • Collaborating with subject matter experts across various technologies - Understand, articulate and write technical solution as explained by Architects, SMEs and Practice Heads


    • 7+ years of professional experience with a proven successful track record in leadership within a global enterprise software company; with at least 4 years of core proposal writing / solutions consulting / bid management
    Technical Skills Required:
    • Knowledge on SDLC and Agile (Being part of a delivery project will be an added advantage)
    • Capable of articulating a technical solution with key differentiators and value proposition
    • Knowledge of at least 3 from the following technology / service areas: Test Automation, Content Management Systems, Big Data / Analytics, Cloud Migrations, DevOps, Mobile App Development.
    • Understanding of engagement models and pricing models
    Functional Skills Required:
    • Experience in working with Pre-Sales / Sales groups to facilitate creation and submission of several proposals / RFIs / RFPs
    • Expertise in bid management - Excellent in collaborating across functions and driving multiple groups to a common objective / deliverable
    • Should be able to understand technical requirements / architecture diagrams
    • Should have experience interacting with senior management, customers, partner and vendors. • Very good communication skills - Comfortable in public speaking / presenting to both internal and external executive audiences
    • Very good skills in leveraging various features of MS Word and MS Power Point
