    • Identifying potential issues, suggesting solutions, writing compliant code and making changes
    • Able to assess websites for accessibility issues and process improvements based on the W3C WCAG 2.0 standards as well as compliance with the ADA, Section 508 (Twenty-First Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act)



    • At least 3 years of front-end experience
    • Broad knowledge of the tools and techniques for overcoming accessibility barriers
    • Hands on experience and knowledge of Assisted Technology (AT) (eg. Screen readers, keyboard only input, etc.)
    • Knowledge of accessibility standards: WCAG 2.0, ADA Section 508, 21st Century Video and Communications Act. Knowledge of Microsoft Accessibility Standards is a needed
    • Ability to assess the compliance of websites to these standards
    • Understanding of user experience/front-end design
    • Ability to coach designers and developers in accessibility
    • Use problem-solving skills to recommend the best solution
    • Ability to assess and explain user impact of an accessibility issue or defect
    • Knowledge of accepted accessibility processes and best practices
    • Ability to work in a team environment
    • Knowledge of technologies including but not limited to: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript Libraries (Angular, React, etc)
    • Know industry adoption of new standards across the combinations of browsers and AT
    • Ability to analyze code for potential accessibility issues
    • Ability to lead meetings and communicate with stakeholders
