The Hardware Reproducibility Engineer is part of a team focused on investigating top identified parts issues from the field.  The engineer will install, test and analyze parts to reproduce customer field issues. These issues will then be given priority and cost savings. The hardware repro team assists in this analysis by initially processing parts returned, reproducing customer complaints and building failure analysis breakdown summary for priority focus. Customer interaction is usually limited, so all avenues are explored to facilitate a solution. Issues are usually more hardware intensive but firmware interaction and hardware timing with firmware is still considered.
