    We are looking for an experienced QA Project/Program Lead for our Customer Insight and Experience Lab to join our team in San Diego, CA. Our Customer Insight and Experience (CIE) Lab evaluates product or asset solution readiness. Our goal is to measure “how well” customers use our products and “how they feel” using them within our lab, in people’s homes, and how they rate the experience within the Social Media (SoMe) landscape.

     

    As our QA Program/ CIE Lab Lead, you will have direct responsibility of coordinating future and ongoing product/asset experience evaluations and helping communicate the results within the Quality organization and potentially other cross functional teams. The CIE Lead will exercise independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives and provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees. 

    Responsibilities

    • Lead multiple project evaluation teams by working with cross functional partners to understand intended experience design and validation of the specifications (program management)
    • Develop and communicate schedules, identify critical deliverables, work across teams to identify dependencies (project management)
    • Compile reports and/or dashboards from various data sources
    • Test case developer: ability to analyze multiple asset and product requirements and outline tests cases that measure the experience or effectiveness of a solution (QA)
    • Provide scheduling oversight in Agile scrum team development and planning activities by communicating risks and critical dependencies
    • Lead process improvement activities, identify documentation needs, provide process documentation as needed

    Qualifications

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Ability to analyze multiple asset and product requirements and outline tests cases that measure the experience or effectiveness of a solution; QA
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, and results
    • Experience with using project and program planning tools and/or software packages to create, manage, and track project results
    • Broad understanding and experience in designing and implementing research and data collection plans for user experience testing and acceptance
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Project management and ability to manage multiple projects with conflicting priorities
    • Great leadership skills and ability to inspire team members
    • Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities

     

    Education and Experience Required:

    • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering or equivalent from an accredited institution
    • PMP/PMI certification preferred, but not required
    • Experience with Agile development practices
    • Demonstrated ability supporting continuous process improvement
    • Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
    • Excellent communication skills
