The Sr. Corporate Tax Accountant reports to the US Finance Director, will be instrumental in developing our US tax policies and analysis and is ultimately responsible for Tax Reporting.  This individual
will be responsible for the preparation of work papers for U.S. federal and state tax income tax returns, various local indirect tax filings, and tax compliance.  In addition, the individual will be assisting in tax planning as well as executing tax strategies.



  • Prepare schedules and perform analysis supporting Beyondsoft’s annual and quarterly tax provision calculations including effective tax rate analysis, deferred taxes, foreign provision, ASC 740-10/FIN 48 calculation
  • Prepares federal and state tax return work-papers for management review
  •   Prepares local (city/county) tax return work-papers and returns
  • Support and prepare models to forecast corporate income taxes including estimated tax payments and filings

  • Research and implement new income tax accounting pronouncements and tax laws

  • Preparation of book/tax differences for use in financial statement reporting of income taxes and provides updates as necessary for tax return preparation

  • Conducts initial review of tax returns prepared by third party service providers

  •    Perform Nexus analysis/study and identify the Company’s business activities in relation to the various Nexus standard and tax impact

  •    Monitors tax fixed asset books on a periodic basis including the calculation of incidental repair deductions

  • Preparation of the estimated tax payment calculations for federal and state income, franchise taxes and annual extension payment calculations

  • Performs analysis of CIP accounts to appropriately include in tax depreciation calculations

  •   Reconciles the tax fixed assets books to the corporate fixed assets books on a quarterly basis or as needed

  •   Provides support for the calculation of tax depreciation expense for use in tax provisions and estimated tax payments calculations

  •    Reviews fixed asset retirements for tax purposes

  •  Support of audits including yearend financial audits as well as audits by local, state, or federal agencies

  •   Support of Transfer pricing study

  • Update the impact to the company due to tax reform and regulation changes

  • Responsible for Fixed Assets accounting and prepaid expenses

  •   Responsible for the monthly transfer-pricing calculation between US and other related-party entities

  •   Support of the routine month-end close and certain management reporting

    Perform special projects related to Forecasting and financial analysis, as needed


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in tax accounting, preferably from both public and private sector
  • Working knowledge of ASC 740 - income tax accounting
  • Solid understanding of fundamental domestic federal and state corporate income tax concepts, including experience in preparing consolidated federal and multi-state tax returns as well as local/state indirect taxes such as sales/use taxes, B&O taxes, city taxes, property taxes
  • Experienced user of SAP or Quickbook Enterprise, preferred
  • Mandarin speaking ability in order to collaborate with global headquarters
