Benefits Administrator is responsible for supporting North America Beyondsoft. This is a full-time corporate position and will be reporting to the Payroll and Benefits Manager. We’re looking for an experienced Benefits Administrator who is self-motivated, result-oriented, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves to get the work done. You thrive well in an ambiguous environment, yet have a track record of completing projects on time.  You are someone that connects the dots quickly and needs little supervision to get work done.


The daily responsibilities include:

Employee Support

  • Administration of employee benefits
  • Coordinate/manage employees going on leave. Should be familiar with federal and state labor leave laws, especially CA.
  • Handle all benefit compensation and reimbursement procedures
  • Keep updated employee records with all relevant information (marital status, years of service, hours worked etc.)
  • Provide special guidance and assistance to all locations on various employee benefit plans
  • Will temporarily coordinate with IT for computer shipping and setup for new employees
  • Will conduct employee exit interviews

Benefits Administration

  • Acting as primary contact for plan vendors and third-party administrators
  • Coordinator transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums and plan administration.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations.
  • Ensure timeliness and accuracy of required reporting and feeds
  • Coordinate daily benefits processing.
  • Handle enrollments, COBRA, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, accident and death claims, rollovers, QDROs, QMCSOs, distributions, and compliance testing. 
  • Gather employee data and oversee the processing of monthly billings.
  • Perform plan audits.
  • Prepare, collect and organize data for actuarial assessments, and review data in conjunction with actuarial evaluation task forces.
  • Manage enrollments, determine employee eligibility
  • Collaborate with accounting department for payments and deductions
  • Coordinate leaves of absence and process claims or requests (FMLA/CFRA, SDI, LTD) – strong knowledge required.
  • Will support audit requests and other reporting requests by running reports out of Excel.
  • Will serve as back-up to Payroll


Skills and Qualifications

  • 4+ years Benefits Administration experience
  • Basic payroll knowledge
  • Understanding of different benefit plans (retirement, health & dental insurance etc.) and relevant regulations
  • Working knowledge of multi-state FMLA/leave
  • Experience with a benefits software or 3rd party software that administers health benefits
  • Proficient in MS Office.Must have strong Excel knowledge (pivot tables, v-lookups)
  • Understanding of data recording and analysis
  • Familiarity with ACA reporting
  • Excellent organization skills and communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
