Overview

This position is in Rancho Bernardo area of San Diego. The engineer will work in a facility of US. leading printing company. And work with engineer and management from the company as a team.

 

We are looking for a Mobile App Quality Engineer who will be responsible for quality of apps for mobile printing products. He or She will represent quality of product. Engage with program team from beginning till end of product lifecycle. Pay attention everything of quality of the product. Take action and timely update to program team and management.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Run test on Apps
  • Analyze and characterize defects found during the test and work with RnD for fixes.
  • Understanding requirements and execute per test plan provided
  • Submit defects in ALM, monitor and track it where applicable
  • Work with RnD and test lab for test report, data analysis
  • Early test out for customer Workflow
  • Test and evaluate function/UI on customer experience of product workflow
  • Manage and triage issues reported by Beta and Delta users, regional partners escalations and field issues 
  • Run testing on installation Via app store or official website upon FCS (To make sure the workflow runs correctly for users)
  • Provide overall project management and performance management to meet expectations

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering
  • SW quality tech with project management experience
  • Knowledge of testing and be familiar with hardware and software testing is a plus, especially in NPI stage.
  • Good knowledge of hardware/software testing, defect database, test tools
  • Knowledge of good user experience
  • Familiar with Microsoft office(word, excel, pivot table, PowerPoint)
  • Good presentation skill
  • Able to think out of box, execute test with min consultations from SW quality
