Position Summary

We’re in the business of helping customers succeed and the Corporate Paralegal/Contract Manager is responsible for supporting several business units within North America Beyondsoft.  Under the supervision of the Legal Director, you will on an ongoing basis support the contract management process and find opportunities to improve these processes. Ideally, you are someone that is a self-starter and likes variety in their daily work, yet can thrive well in an ambiguous environment.



  • Support a variety of business teams in contract requirements, including the preparation, revision, and negotiation of contracts that will include NDAs, services agreements, statements of work, purchase agreements, amendments, and legal notifications, with attorney input as needed.
  • Maintain contract template versions and assist in deploying changes to templates across the enterprise platforms;
  • Work closely with management to ensure contracts materially comply with company guidelines;
  • Assist with design, implementation and ongoing management of company’s contracts management system;
  • Design and manage processes, as required, to positively impact the Legal team’s efficiency and effectiveness, including contract management, training and legal support for company business units;
  • Prepare, and file domestic trademark and patent applications, including drafting applicable documents, Statements of Use, and non-substantive responses to office requests;
  • Document execution and tracking of all legal filings, such as corporate filings, patent and trademark.

Assist in due diligence and preparation of closing materials in connection with M&A activity, together with assistance with the integration of newly acquired entities



  • College degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Six (6) years or more of experience in a paralegal, contract manager or equivalent position, ideally having some experience in managing a team of support and admin staff.
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating the legal terms of a broad range of standard commercial contracts;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, organization, cross-group collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Confidence and ability to quickly identify, analyze and develop practical solutions to difficult problems and challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in team situations on a variety of tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Common sense, great judgment, and a good sense of humor
  • Flexibility and curiosity to learn as the industry and the business evolve. Specific experience in technology a plus, but not required.
