We are looking for an experienced IT Systems Analyst and technical subject matter expert to join our team in examining and improving systems that are currently in place. This role will require exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work with individuals at all levels of the company, on both the business and technical side.   • Examine and evaluate current systems, applications, and functions.
  • Design solutions for maintenance enhancements.
  • Research issues reported by customers and provide resolutions.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality.
  • Extract data as requested by customers and liaise with users to track additional requirements and features.
  • Facilitate requirements elicitation sessions and walkthroughs with business and IT resources for maintenance enhancements.
  • Validate changes by testing programs.
  • Demonstrate the ability to liaise between business and technical departments.
  • Perform Ad-Hoc reporting and report support as necessary.
  • Create customized reports based on data provided by various teams via emails, phone calls, meetings and updates within change management system.
  • Identify opportunities for improving business processes through information systems and/or non-system driver changes.
  • On call 24x7 for level one production issues.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Informatics, or Business
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience: implementing technical solutions, software implementation, development, and support
  • Documentation skills including non-functional requirements, functional requirements, business rules, business processes, basic design, functional design, and technical design
  • Expert knowledge of the Software Development Life-Cycle (SDLC) and/or Product Development Life-Cycle (PDLC)
  • Agile/Waterfall methodologies
  • Experience or background in business analysis, requirements definition, building systems solutions, and deployment of business requirements
  • Visual Basic, Expert SQL experience, general programming
  • Strong knowledge of Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; general knowledge of Windows-based POS systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, often changing, and sometimes ambiguous environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Retail industry experience preferred, but not required
  • C, COBOL, and Oracle experience a plus
